I'm from the deep South so grew up with this food. Let me tell ya, it's legit. EVERYTHING we had was killer. The Taste of New Orleans was a sampler and we loved it all. The corn pudding is a must-try. The homemade fresh-fruit daiquiris were very tasty and strong.We can't wait to get back here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Staff had amazing hospitality! The food was rich and incredibly delicious! Every plate is made I from scratch and gives you that home-y feeling once you take the first bite. I had the jambalaya and it was the BEST I have ever had. 10/10 spot that is conveniently on the corner of MLK and Knott. Will come back when I visit Portland :)

FANTASTIC FOOD!! Hands down best jambalaya I have EVER had!! This little cafe’ ought to have a line around the block! I passed by a few times and tonight I got curious and stopped in. WOW!!! I had the red beans & rice, collard greens, crawfish étouffée, jambalaya plate and oh man!!! The crawfish étouffée was delicious.
